Instruments:
These are my guitars.
The first one is an Ibanez S470 QS. The second one is the Kramer Jersey Star Reissue, the guitar Richie played from 1987 until 1991. For the whole story, and many pictures from Richie's Kramer guitar models, please visit the Kramer Sanbora information page. The third one is my 12-string acoustic guitar with a pickup, made by Tennessee. The fourth one is my Fender Stratocaster Richie Sambora signature (made in Mexico). I bought this 12 years old guitar used on Ebay, but it is like new. With this Fender, you can create all these great sounds Richie plays like on the albums Stranger In This Town, Keep The Faith or These Days. From strong rock sound, to the typical Fender blues sound, this guitar does it all.
Amp:
This is my guitar amp, an Marshall JCM 2000 TSL601.
Effects:
This is my Heil talkbox I use for Livin' on a prayer, It's my life and so on.
This is my Boss SD-1 super Overdrive effect pedal. Richie is using this pedal since the beginning of the band, especially on Slippery When Wet and New Jersey.
This is my Boss BF-2 Flanger effect pedal.
This is my Boss TR-2 tremolo effect pedal. Richie is using this pedal in songs like One Last Cigarette or Love Me Back To Life.
This is my Boss CH-1 chorus effect pedal.
This is my Boss RV-3 reverb/delay effect pedal.
This is my Boss FV-50 volume pedal.
This is my Zoom G2 multif effect processor. I'm using this for pitch shifting and some other effects.
This is my Dunlop CryBaby effect pedal.
This is my Effectboard, in which I transport all my effects.
This is my Shure SM57 microphone. This mic is the most common mic different bands use for picking up the amps or for singing. I use it for the talkbox.
This is my Behringer Eurorack UB802 mixer. I connect my microphone to this mixer for the talkbox and recording.
Software:
Basically you can use every software, which is able to record waves.
How to record:I place my microphone in front of my amp and connect this to the mixer. The mixer output is connected to the line of my soundcard. Now I simply record from the line in with an audio software. |
